it's a community that has a weekly prompt for The Sentinel to write a short story,100 words to whatever( they are really lose about the higher numbers, just ask that if it is a long story over say, 2000 words to link to your journal). Jane Davitt and lit_gal and some of the other commenters to your stories are members. They have an archive of stories, too. I read the stories long before I started writing for it( I'm very new to writing, period. Just took the plunge in April) It's a lot of fun and you can turn in stories late or write one for an old challenge, no problem. And they have a lot of old challenges going back a couple of years. I don't know how to link with the codes in a comment, but if you go to say, my journal,on the left is a link to the community. Or you could probably do a search or go to Jane's,lit_gal's or my user profile for a link, or check with TS newsletter.

Really, it's serendipity that your story would fit the prompt. A sign from the universe. Seriously, your writing would be appreciated, and the people are nice.
Laurie
