dS Picspam: One Good Man

It's all [livejournal.com profile] vsee's fault that I spent the evening taking screenshots
from One Good Man.

Her wonderful posting about domestic!Fraser (and the shaving!)
drove me to it.

Oh, yay! Know what else we learn from that whole scene? Fraser, who hardly owns anything at all, owns a whisk. That, for some reason, totally cracks me up. I want the whisk to show up in fic somewhere, someday. Course, he loses it in the fire and all, but...

The man has a whisk and still eats out of campware. ::shakes head sadly.::

Hee. I am now capping Fraser in the brown uniform. I am obsessed.

I'm soooo glad you did this. Now I don't have to. I can sit back and drool over Fraser without any work involved. Thanks!

Heh. Glad to serve.

Hooray for picspam! Fraser is delicious in this episode, as V so rightly pointed out. And his darling little whisk! *hearts him again*

[identity profile] arrow00.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 08:26 am (UTC)(link)
The poor man has a whisk but no spoons. This is symbolic somehow.

Okay, the picture of Fraser shaving with the straight-razor? Kilz me ded. TYK, arrow.

[identity profile] arrow00.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 08:27 am (UTC)(link)
Shhhh. I am trying to get Nos to write a shaving fic. :)

[identity profile] fob-sanguin.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 01:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Bleehhh. Unearthly good-looking men are one thing. Those that are also domesticated are another. And there's something so wickedly sexy about that straight razor...have you noticed, however, that when we later see him reading in bed, he doesn't appear to be in need of a shave anyway???? Picky, picky. BTW - how does one make screenshots?? I'm so not-in-touch that I've been known to take camera photos from my DVDs, with much cursing & fiddling with the pause button. All you technophiles can just go & laugh at me now.

[identity profile] arrow00.livejournal.com 2008-01-28 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)
hey fob:

you can probably download a piece of snapshotting software--that's what I do. play the DVD and snapshot (it does things like do timed shots and automatically rev the filename for saving.)

on the mac, I use Snapndrag. http://www.yellowmug.com/snapndrag/

I then use a photoshop recorded action to fix the colors, save as jpg. LJ's gallery software is cool in that it makes the thumbnails and different sizes when you upload.

Cheers, I'll give it a try (although I'll probably still make a cock-up). BTW - I checked in my Delia Smith cookbook for her basic pancake recipe, and she says use - wait for it - A WHISK!!! So Fraser's a Delia Smith fan, obviously.

Just an afterthought - it's a great shame that, after all the comments that have been left about Fraser fiddling with his stove, whisking the batter mix etc, you've no pics of that bit......please please??
