I will look at Thai art per your rec. Don't think I've ever seen any of that type.

My instructors aren't biased, by the way. It's just the current reality. Far more women are available to model than men. It's the whole society that's to blame. Men aren't supposed to be the objects of the artist's gaze, right? Or the public's. They're the movers and shakers and we're the objects, so the myth goes. That is exactly what I'd like to question in images. I'm totally drawing Ray as Manet's courtesan or an Odalisque as soon as my skills are up to it. Maybe the Manet should be Fraser. Yeah. Hee!

I just want to do the same subversive thing in art that we're doing in fanfic. :)
