Arrow, this is gorgeous! A perfect chilling ghost story, and you struck a perfect balance of melancholy and cheer. I found myself thinking how desperately sad it would be for Fraser to have to go to the woodshed for love for the rest of his life, but the ending is still upbeat enough to counteract the angst. I love the addition of the 'present-day' Mountie, too. Really, really wonderful writing.
