The most divine and awful cliff-hanger in the history of cliff-hangers. I--just--writers! That amount of peril and git punching plot twisting needs preparation for! *waves at prone members of flist* See?!

(and, I mean, I know that they had to top last year's Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords finale of awesome, and I know that RTD warned that, because of the year hiatus between series four and five, there was going to be a stonking ending--and I know that there was going to be Things Happening with Rose coming back--but still)
