so now that I have finally turned in the gold master on our new CD I feel I can finally sit back and enjoy my birthday. damned inconvenient timing.

a belated thanks to the lovely fangirls who made me excruciatingly wonderful presents.

first, janedavitt spanked Jim most deliciously, which is entirely appropriate, so much so that I think I would like to adopt that tradition for my own birthday in future, because her story made me all weak in the knees.

then, capt_spork created this wonderful piece of Slouchy Ray and Fidgety Fraser for me and made me squee with pure dS glee.

akamine_chan gifted me with the cutest little penguin and thady with a tasty cupcake.

and just when I thought my birthday was ALL OVER, j_s_cavalcante drew me an un-dreamed for illustration of Ray-with-a-buzzcut to match my story Slimed. Oh SIGH. Just...hot. Hot. Hot.

So that was it, I thought, and a lovely trove of treasures it was, and way out-matched my RL birthday presents, which included mostly gift certificates to iTunes. can't argue about the perfection of the gift, considering how much money I have poured into that black hole...but not particularly personal, you know?

so imagine my pure glee when the very next day bertybertle turned out the most lovely first time story with such a wonderful hesitant, self-protective Fraser and determined and stubborn and sweet Ray that my panties melted.

yes, \o/ this much glee.

ETA: haha! the birthday is never ending: vsee has recorded a podfic of my story More Than Good! I can't wait to listen; I hear her reading voice is just purely sexy.
