This was such a wonderful romp! I adore your so-sexy, self-assured Ray. I admire your Ray characterization, in fact, more than words can render. And Fraser admitting to the visitations from Dead!Bob is definitely excuse for a celebratory drink! What a great premise! Plus, oh, his thoughts about going back to the loony bin! So sad, especially because he's sort of resigned about it and not self-pitying at all. When he thought about who'd care for Dief I wanted to cry! I love Ray's interrogation, and Fraser getting drunk on what, for an almost 6-ft-tall guy, is not that much beer, and Fraser's method of sending Bob away, too.

Ray's actions always spoke louder than his words. Fraser had been pushing him away these past weeks, but he'd also been reveling in every small sign of Ray's desire, of Ray's boundless affection. So, he knew.
Yes! I love that! I think these are all SO TRUE.

Ray's heart was bigger than he'd ever admit.
Yes, yes, yes, YES. This is how I see Ray also, but you knew that. :)

As is this:
His thoughts spun ahead to what Ray was offering to do to him.
Fraser wanted it, all of it—his full measure of sin.
Oh, Fraser! He so would!

There was a price to be paid for jumping on top of cars or off of buildings.
So insightful! I'd never quite thought of it this way, that Fraser might have bruises also.

"I don't want 'easy'," Fraser said fervently. "I want you."
And oh, yeah. Fraser. That's Fraser, too.

And then with the "hot Mountie" stuff--which is so funny, that you took a thing that people sometimes find a fanfic pet peeve and you totally turned it on its ear and you made it BE hot. The sex scene is volcanic. And believable! OMG...Fraser would want it, his full measure of sin, right now, no waiting because he's a virgin with guys; that's for wimps, and Fraser is made of sterner stuff...and I believe this savvy Ray would and could do it to him, and do it so well...and just...guhhhhh. *flails incoherently*

So, yeah, I totally bought it.

And then Fraser's unhinged with joy...I love that transformation.

And the "hot cop lover" stuff...hahaha again!

And the drill. Coming from the closet! Hee!! Perfect. This story is an amazing combination of HOTHOTHOT and intelligent and funny! And I just love it to little bitty pieces. Again, your Ray? Blows. Me. Away. Mmmm....Sexy!Competent!Ray. *happy sigh*

When I betaed your early story--was it your first in dS?--the one with Ray's sister-in-law? I remember saying that as a writer you had something special, and since then you've proved it again and again. I can't wait to see what you'll write next.
