Oh! Oh oh oh ... It is so nice to read a fic where there's build-up and introspection and a serious attention to all of their various issues, but still maintains something of a light, story-telling tone. This was very well done, completely brilliant. The characters are spot on, and the entire idea is just lovely. Really, I'm very impressed.
