Describe your space. What do you love about it?

This could mean my house or my space on DW. I'll do both of them. Lucky you.

My house. We've been in this home for about 30 years. It's a four-bedroom, two-bath house with 2156 Square feet of living space. We have a nice kitchen. Not fancy just nice and cozy. My hubby watches different things in the living room that I don't watch so I have one bedroom made into a tv room. That way we don't force the other one to watch something they don't like. 🥰 We watch things together but it's nice to have my own little space. We have a spare room and an office too. We have luxury vinyl floors. They are so easy to keep up. Our house is on .75 acres of land. A very nice sized lot. Plenty of room for grandchildren and our kids. And of course our dog, Dakota. We love this house.

My space on Dreamwidth is a great setting. I belong to about 12 communities and I'm so happy here. Everyone makes me happy. I love it here too.

I'm a little early. I'm going to bed soon. For the last 14 days it's been in the 70s F. So gorgeous. I love Arizona winters.

5. It’s the 60th anniversary of the game ‘Twister’ – have you ever played it?

When I was much younger. (13). It was a blast. Used to make me laugh so hard. I always played it with my kids too. I was really good at bending in those days. 😁😁

How about you?

Heaven in a bowl.

Ingredients:
18.3 ounces box fudge brownie mix, baked and cooled according to package directions in a 9×13 pan and cut into 1 inch pieces
6.8 ounces instant vanilla pudding (two 3.4-ounce boxes)
3 cups whole milk, cold
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup creamy peanut butter, Peter Pan brand used
16 ounces whipped topping, thawed and divided (1 ½ cups folded into the filling and the remaining used to create the trifle layers) (Cool Whip brand used) (approximately 6 ½ cups)
36 Mini Reese’s cups, unwrapped and cut into halves (divided into 3 – ⅓ amount portions for layering and garnish)

Instructions:
Prepare and bake the fudge brownie mix according to package directions, for your brand of mix, in a 9×13 baking pan. Cool the brownies completely before cutting them into 1 inch pieces. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl whisk together the instant vanilla pudding, whole milk and vanilla extract for 2 minutes or until the pudding has thickened.
Whisk in the creamy peanut butter until the mixture is smooth and thick.
Fold 1 ½ cups of the thawed whipped topping into the peanut butter pudding mixture until no white streaks remain.
To the bottom of a 3 quart trifle dish, add half the fudge brownie pieces in a single layer followed by ⅓ of the halved mini Reese’s peanut butter cups sprinkled over the brownie pieces.
Next, spread half of the peanut butter pudding filling over the brownies and Reese’s cups in a smooth, even layer.
Top with half (approximately 2 ½ cups) of the remaining whipped topping spread to an even layer.
Repeat steps 5 – 7 with the fudge brownie pieces, another ⅓ of the halved mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, peanut butter pudding filling and remaining whipped topping.
Garnish the top of the heaven in a bowl trifle with the remaining ⅓ halved mini Reese’s peanut butter cups piled into the center of the whipped topping.
Refrigerate the heaven in a bowl for 3-4 hours or until completely chilled and the peanut butter pudding layer has firmed up enough to easily scoop out individual servings.

Is there a book you’ve seen made into a film and been disappointed with the result?

I think books are always better than a movie but I can’t think of one that disappointed me. I’ll think of a bunch later. 😁

2. When was the last time you saw an original hand-painted painting?

We have a studio in Tucson, Az called Degrazzi Art Studio. Some of his art is gorgeous. Most of them are prints, but they have originals too. And then I have a brother who is an artist and I have many of his originals. He is a paper cutter religious artist. All of his work is beautiful. Now he paints for as long as he can. He has macular degeneration. He’s losing his sight. I will add some links for these later.

1. What’s your favourite hot beverage? How do you make it?

I love hot cocoa but I also love hot tea. I brew up a cup of black tea and add a tablespoon of mango nectar. It’s really good. I love mango anything. Try it you might find out it’s good. You can also use peach nectar. But I’ve I have to choose I think I would. Choose hot cocoa. I crave chocolate all the time. I’m a little allergic to it. It get nausea but does that stop me, hell no. I eat chocolate every chance I get.

Now, a question for you? What is your favorite hot drink? And if you had problems with eating chocolate would you you still eat it like I do. Inquiring minds want to know.

What are three great things that happened yesterday?

Let's see. I got six hours of sleep, which was very good. I haven't been sleeping too much. When I do it, it's a luxury. I made homemade vegetable soup with ground turkey. I prefer that over hamburger. And third, I watched a movie called McFarlane, USA. It was on Disney. Kevin Costner was in it, but I don't care for him at all. Well, I loved him in it. It was such a heartwarming film. I just loved it so much. Maria Bella played his wife. She was great too. I love feel-good movies. I know what you're thinking about right now. (those are great things?)
When you get as old as I am, you're thankful for more laid back things.
